PLAY BY PLAY
Radford started shooting hot and that theme would continue throughout the night. Radford's first four makes came from four different players as Mari Jordan, Tyson Brown, Parker Jr. and Johnson all got the scoring started early for a 9-2 lead. Erichsen and Louie Jordan would come off the bench for some quick points to push the lead to 14-6.

Looking to improve their shooting from beyond the arc in the season opener, it was Erichsen who broke the lid with the first three of the night followed quickly by Lukas Walls. Jones, not to be held scoreless for long, scored a nifty layup at the 9:30 mark in the first half that had Radford up 22-13.

A 10-0 run over three minutes thanks to a pair of threes from Brennan Rigsby Jr. and Johnson gave Radford its biggest lead so far at 32-15. The shots really started to pour on to close the half as Radford ended the last two minutes on a 14-4 run that gave them the 51-27 advantage at half.

Same as the first half, four different Highlanders made the first four buckets to start the second half. Cruising up 63-37, Radford opened up a dunk party as Parker Jr. rocked the rim multiple times as well as M. Jordan and Gabriel Ferreira getting in on the fun. Down the closing stretch, some new faces hit the court for Radford in Keel Jr. and Land who promptly scored points. At the final whistle, Radford was able to seal the impressive 99-61 final to begin the season 2-0.
