Women’s Tennis Drops Road Contest at ETSU

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The Radford women's tennis program fell to a tough ETSU squad Friday afternoon in a 7-0 final.
In doubles play, the Buccaneers took the 1-0 advantage in the match after wins on courts one and two. Michaela Stephens and Brooke Murphy were battling on court three down 5-3 before going unfinished.
In singles play, ETSU continued towards the eventual 7-0 victory with wins on all six courts. Lexi Smolder and Natalie Reimer both were competitive in their opening sets for the Highlanders before ultimately falling.
UP NEXT
Radford's home match previously scheduled for Sunday, March 2nd has been postponed due to forecast weather. The Highlanders will next be in action on Saturday, March 8th at home against Wofford.
