Abrams Earns Decisive Win in Action Against Wofford

RADFORD, Va. – The Radford women's tennis program fell to a strong Wofford squad Saturday afternoon 6-1 with Julia Abrams highlighting with her singles victory.
After Wofford took the early 1-0 lead with the doubles point, Radford turned its focus to singles. Abrams was decisive on court two, picking up Radford's lone win of the day in straight sets 6-3, 6-2.
Michaela Stephens also put forth a strong effort on the top flight for Radford. After going behind early, Stephens battled back to force a tiebreaker before ultimately falling 5-7, 6-2, 0(6)-1.
