Radford Volleyball Unveils Schedule for Upcoming 2026 Season

RADFORD, Va. – The Radford volleyball program and head coach Savanna Hammond announced Wednesday morning the team's 2026 Fall schedule which includes almost 30 matches and the second straight year hosting the Radford Invitational.

THE BREAKDOWN
The 53rd season in Radford Volleyball program history kicks off with the Highlanders visiting East Carolina in Greenville, N.C. for a tournament taking place between August 27th and August 29th. While there, Radford will face opponents such as East Carolina, Hampton and Bethune-Cookman. The following weekend, the team will make a trip to Statesboro, Ga. between September 3rd and September 5th facing Georgia Southern, Eastern Kentucky and Prairie View A&M.

The home portion of the 2026 schedule will begin in midweek fashion as Radford hosts Liberty on September 8th in a return trip from last season's thrilling five-set match at the Flames. After one more road trip to Kansas City, Mo. to compete at UMKC between September 11th and September 12th against opponents UMKC, Utah Valley and Drake, the Highlanders return home to host the Radford Invitational for a second straight season.

Beginning on Friday, September 18th, Radford will play host to Chattanooga at 1 p.m. before facing Norfolk State in the night cap at 7 p.m. Action for Radford concludes the next day with a 4 p.m. match against Bellarmine. The trio of teams Radford hosts that weekend including Chattanooga, Norfolk State and Bellarmine will all also face each other throughout the weekend.

With nonconference in the rear view mirror, Radford's first three Big South matches all come on the road at High Point (Sept. 25), UNC Asheville (Oct. 2) and USC Upstate (Oct. 3). Radford's first home conference battles will come against Winthrop (Oct. 9) and Gardner-Webb (Oct. 10).

After road visits to Presbyterian (Oct. 16) and Charleston Southern (Oct. 17), the Highlanders will host four straight matches at home. As a part of Homecoming Weekend, Radford hosts USC Upstate (Oct. 23) and UNC Asheville (Oct. 24). The following week, Presbyterian (Oct. 30) and Charleston Southern (Oct. 31) also make return trips to the Dedmon Center.

The Highlanders final road visits come at Gardner-Webb (Nov. 6) and High Point (Nov. 7) as the calendar flips to November. The regular season concludes in the Dedmon Center against High Point (Nov. 13), also currently set to be Radford's Senior Night. The Big South Tournament is set for the weekend of November 20th and will be hosted by Winthrop in Rock Hill, S.C.

WHERE TO WATCH
Admission to all Radford Volleyball regular season matches is FREE to the public inside the Dedmon Center.

Select Radford volleyball home matches will be streamed on ESPN+ throughout the season. A full broadcast schedule will be released closer to the season's start and will be available on the team's schedule page here.

For road matches, Radford matches will be streamed on ESPN+ during Big South play and across various streaming platforms during nonconference play as decided by the hosting institution.
