Multiple Highlanders Competing with Pulaski River Turtles This Summer

RADFORD, Va. – The Appalachian League kicked off their 2026 summer season this week which includes multiple Highlanders that fans of Radford Baseball can support. The closest team to Radford, the Pulaski River Turtles, hosts student-athletes from Radford such as Eli Hudgins, Hunter Howard and Noah Toole.

Howard was a reliable arm out of the bullpen for Radford despite limited action over just 7.2 innings pitched. Toole is also looking to build off a strong 2026 campaign that saw him start in all 51 games while collecting a .285/.387/.453 slash line with four homers, 36 RBI, and nine stolen bases. Hudgins was another major contributor to Radford's lineup with the second-best batting average on the team at .315 scoring 30 runs and driving in 22 with a pair of home runs.
