Women’s Lacrosse Honored With IWLCA Academic Squad Recognition, Adds Ten to Honor Roll

RADFORD, Va. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced today that Radford has been named an academic honor squad. In addition, a program record 10 student-athletes were named to the academic honor roll list.
By easily exceeding the 3.2 GPA requirement for the academic year, Radford was named as one of the 115 NCAA Division I programs to be named to the academic squad list. This is the third-straight season and seventh time in program history the team has earned IWLCA Academic Squad recognition.
The 10 honor roll honorees include Mady Cheney, Gabby DiRenno, Riley Dundee, Sam Flippo, Evie Gee, Hannah Hanger, Ava LaManna, Molly O'Brien, River Rupert, and Alyssa Yost.
Overall, the IWLCA honored 1,212 student-athletes across 122 institutions for the 2025-26 IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior or graduate student and have a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or higher.
