Pair of Highlanders Recognized on Big South Women’s Soccer Midseason Watch List

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Big South Conference announced Thursday morning that senior's Lexi Radvanyi and Caitlyn Nottingham have been named to the conference's midseason watch list.
Through seven matches this season, Radvanyi has helped lead the Highlanders to a shutout win over Concord and has kept Radford in the game against several tough opponents. She ranks second in saves per game (5.25) in the Big South entering Wednesday and is the only goalkeeper to have 10+ saves in multiple games in the conference. Radvanyi was named the preseason goalkeeper of the year by the conference's head coaches at the start of the season and received the defender of the week award this past Monday after her strong performance vs. ETSU.
Nottingham was also named the conference's preseason defender of the year. The senior was crucial to Radford's 1-1 draw against ETSU this past Sunday, helping hold the Buccaneers to one goal in the second half. She has totaled 90 minutes against Charlotte and Tennessee Tech and tied career high in shots and shots on goal in a 3-0 win vs. Concord.
The Highlanders begin Big South play on Saturday, Sept. 19 at USC Upstate. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. from County University Soccer Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 19, with coverage on ESPN+.
