Big South All-Tournament Team

AS A SENIOR (2008-09):
Became the 23rd player in Radford men’s basketball history to hit the 1,000-point plateau with a 14-point performance at High Point (1/17)... Finished his career 10th on Radford’s all-time scoring list... Ranked among league leaders in scoring (11th/14.7) and three-pointers made (8th/79)… Finished second on the club in scoring… Hit double figures in 26 of Radford’s 33 contests… Scored at least 20 points in a contest eight times... Nine games with four or more three-pointers... Led all five Radford starters with 20 points on 7-of-13 shooting, including 5-of-7 from deep in season opener (11/14)... Made 7-of-8 from the charity stripe to finish with 14 points against Bridgewater (11/18)... Poured in a season-high 25 points on 9-of-17 shooting, including five buckets from downtown against Gardner-Webb (12/4)... Backed his season-high against Gardner-Webb with 20 points, five rebounds and five assists in Radford’s 21-point win over Winthrop (12/6)... Scored 14 points on 6-of-11 shooting, including two three-pointers at No. 6 Wake Forest (12/30)... Backed his performance against UNCA with 18 points, including four buckets from long range, vs. Charleston Southern (1/12)... Recorded his first career double-double in Radford’s double overtime victory at Liberty (1/24) with 21 points and 12 rebounds in 49 minutes of action... Also set a new career-high for assists with seven against the Flames... Torched the nets for 19 points, going 7-for-14 overall and 3-of-6 from downtown at Gardner-Webb (1/31)... Netted 12 points including a game-tying three-pointer with just over a minute to play in Radford’s OT win over Coastal Carolina (2/9)... Hit four buckets from downtown and scored 14 points in Radford’s thrilling win at UNCA (2/14)... Led Radford with a season-high 28 points on 10-of-16 from the floor, including three from downtown at VMI (2/21)... Recorded his second straight 20-point outing with 21 points, while adding nine rebounds and five assists against High Point (2/25)... In Radford’s regular season finale against Liberty (2/28) scored 23 points, including four buckets from downtown... Tied a Big South Tournament record with a career-high 35 points on 10-of-18 shooting from the floor and a 10-of-11 performance from the line in Radford’s semifinal victory over UNC Asheville (3/5)... Charted his second double-double of the season with 15 points and 10 rebounds in Radford’s 108-94 victory over VMI in the Big South Tournament... One of four Highlanders in doubles figures with 11 points in the first round of the 2009 NCAA Tournament against top-seeded North Carolina (3/19).

AS A JUNIOR (2007-08): Started 26 of the 28 games in which he appeared… Ranked second on the club and 11th in the Big South in scoring with an average of 14.3 points per game… Led the Highlanders in three-point field goals (51), three-point field-goal percentage (.352), free throws made (92) and free-throw percentage (.786)… Reached the 10-point plateau 23 times and score 20 or more points on seven separate occasions, including a season-high 32 points on 12-of-13 shooting against Emory and Henry… Hit multiple threes in a contest 17 times during the 2007-08 campaign… Handed out a personal best six assists in Radford’s 91-67 victory over Southern Virginia… Canned five three-pointers and 8-of-12 shots from the floor en route to 23 points against Campbell in Radford’s win at the Dedmon Center… Despite not connecting on a field goal, made good on all 10 of his attempts from the charity stripe at Coastal Carolina… In back-to-back Big South triumphs over VMI and Charleston Southern matched his personal best for rebounds with eight… Named Big South Player of the Week twice during his junior campaign… His first honor came following Radford’s double-overtime win at Gardner-Webb in which he poured in 24 points and grabbed seven boards… The second selection (Feb. 4-10) was after the guard averaged 21 points and eight rebounds in conference wins over VMI and Charleston Southern.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2006-07): Ranked fourth on the team in scoring with 9.8 points per game ... Scoring average increased to 10.4 point per game in Conference play ... Pulled down 3.9 boards per game overall, good for fourth place on the team ... Rebounding average improved to 4.5 in Big South play, moving him into third on the team ... Shot 41.6 percent from the field and 35.6 percent from beyond the arc ... Led the team in three-pointers taken and made ... Hit 80 percent of his free throws in Big South games ... Had 21 assists, five blocks and 18 steals ... Played in 30 games, starting 20 ... Scored in double digits 13 times, breaking 20 twice ... Scored a then career-high 18 points in front of his hometown crowd at Richmond followed by two 20-point performances in the next three games ... Set a career high of eight rebounds against Shenandoah.

AS A FRESHMAN (2005-06): Played in 27 games, garnering two starts ... Averaged 2.4 points and 1.8 rebounds per game ... Scored his first career points on free throws versus Virginia Tech in the season opener ... Scored in double digits twice, tallying 16 points in the home opener versus ETSU and 10 at home versus High Point ... Recorded a career-high six rebounds against Texas-Arlington ... Shot 71.4 percent at the line, including four perfect outings ... Shot 50 percent from the field or better five times ... Sunk six three-pointers on the season, including hitting two versus ETSU and two against VMI ... Had a season-high three steals at North Carolina A&T.

IN HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Highland Springs High School under coach George Lancaster ... Helped lead the Springers to the Capitol District’s regional semifinals as a junior ... Averaged 18.7 points, six rebounds and 3.6 assists per game while being named the Capitol District Player of the Year and Capitol District First Team, First Team All-Metro and Second Team All-State as a senior ... Also garnered team MVP honors and Team’s Best Offensive Player Honors during his senior season ... As a junior was named First Team All-Region and Second Team All-Metro.

ACADEMICS/COMMUNITY SERVICE:
Majoring in Information Systems at Radford ... Was a member of the Beta Club and Academic First Team and served as SCA Treasurer...Was named to the All-Academic team as a sophomore, junior and senior in high school ... Volunteered with Special Olympics.
