Was Radford’s ironman, playing in all 59 games, while starting a team-high 16 games on the mound … Turned in a 5-5 record and 4.96 ERA on the bump … At the plate, hit for a .257 average with 61 hits and 26 RBIs … In his third collegiate start, tossed Radford’s first nine-inning no-hitter, finishing an error shy of a perfect game in a 4-0 win over Quinnipiac (March 4) … Was named NCBWA National Pitcher of the Week, Big South Pitcher of the Week and Golden Spikes Award Golden Standard Performance nominee … Struck out eight batters in the no-hitter … Second longest start on season came in Big South Tournament Quarterfinal, striking out a career-best nine batters in a 7-1 win over Winthrop (May 26) … Held left-handed batters to a .220 average … In the batter’s box, finished with 15 multi-hit games and six multi-RBI performances … In non-conference games, hit for a .262 average and 17 RBIs … Drove in all four runs, including walk-off two-run triple in 4-3 win over ETSU (March 28) … Had a 12-game hitting streak (April 28-May 18) … Collected hits in 18 of his final 20 games … Signed non-drafted free agent contract with Kansas City Royals on June 17.

Started 57 of Radford’s 58 games…Led team with a .329 average; finishing with 11 doubles, six triples, two home runs and 34 RBIs…Posted a .458 slugging percentage with a .385 OBP, including 17 walks…Ranked 38th nationally in toughest to strike out category, striking out once every 14.1 plate appearances...Stole seven stolen bases in nine attempts…Fielded .935 in 217 chances…Was 18 for 58 (.310) vs. left-handed pitching…Went 56 for 167 (.335) against right-handed pitchers…Reached 34 times in 56 plate appearances as leadoff batter… Had 23 multi-hit games, including seven three-hit contests...Had seven multi-RBI games, finishing with three three-RBI affairs…Collected three RBIs in a 2 for 3 showing with a double against Campbell (April 1)…Went 3 for 6 with three RBIs, one double and one run scored in 15-8 win over Winthrop (April 16)…Led Big South Tournament with seven runs scored…Finished tied for seventh with five tournament RBIs…Finished season with a 11-game on-base streak and nine-game hitting streak.
