Megan Dee joined the Radford Athletic Training and Sports Medicine staff in August of 2021. She serves as an Associate Athletic Trainer and is the Wellness Coordinator for the Highlanders. She primarily works with the women’s basketball program.
Since arriving at Radford, Dee has spent time working with the Student Counseling Center to bring counseling sessions to the athletic department. She has taken several courses including the Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training to help provide better mental wellness care to the student athletes.
Before arriving at Radford, Dee spent two years at Lamar University in Beaumont, TX. She was a graduate assistant athletic trainer with the primary responsibility of football She also served as a preceptor for athletic training students in Lamar’s athletic training program.
Prior to Lamar, Dee worked as an athletic trainer at Concord University in Athen, West Viriginia and provided care for the football and women’s basketball programs.
Dee graduated from Radford University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training. She graduated from Lamar University in 2021 with a Master of Science degree in kinesiology. Dee is certified through the National Athletic Trainers Association and licensed to practice in the state of Virginia.
