Cameron Fagan was announced as an assistant softball coach in August 2024 and is entering her first season in the role.
After an incredible four-year career as a student-athlete with Virginia Tech, Fagan enters the collegiate coaching scene with the Highlanders. During her tenure with the Hokies, Fagan earned awards such as NFCA Mid-Atlantic Regional Teams (2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024), All-ACC Teams (2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024), All-ACC Academic (2023), and DI Softball National Player of the Week (2024).
Fagan knows a thing or two about rewriting record books as she also solidified program top 10 totals for batting average, hits, home runs, RBI, slugging percentage, total bases, walks, runs and on base percentage while with Virginia Tech.
Over those four seasons, accumulating over 200 games played as an infielder, Fagan collected 236 hits, 33 home runs, 140 RBI with a slash line of .363/.435/.559. The Hokies made four trips to the NCAA Regionals and two trips to the NCAA Super Regionals during her career and were ranked in multiple national polls all four years.
