2024 AS A SOPHOMORE
Appeared in 17 games with 15 starts... Tallied 35 goals earning six hat tricks... Marked her 100th draw control against Mercer... Led the team in draw controls with 51 on the season... Scored a season-high six goals at Presbyterian... Big South 2nd Team All-Conference.

2023 AS A FRESHMAN
Started all 17 games for the Highlanders... Scored 21 goals over the course of the season and tallied three hat tricks... Picked up 33 ground balls and recorded 51 draw controls... Netted a season-high four goals against Delaware State.

PREP
Attended McNeil High School in Austin, Texas. Under the leadership of head coach Jenni Darlow, she helped the lead the Mavericks to the 6A playoffs each year of her career. She helped the Mavericks post an 8-2 record her senior season, as she earned all-state honors and was named a USA Lacrosse All-American.

A decorated high school athlete, Cheney was a seven-time MVP at her high school: twice with the track team, twice with the lacrosse team and three times with the cross country team. She was also tabbed as an Under Armour All-American in 2021. She excelled in her studies, gaining induction into the National Honor Society as well as her school’s science honor society, math honor society and Spanish honor society.
