Amy McCollum, a former standout on the Radford women's golf team, begins her first season as the Volunteer Women's Golf Assistant.
McCollum recorded a career-best 83.5 stroke average her senior year, a four shot improvement from her first season at Radford. She shot a season and career-best 239 at the Spider Invitational to garner a tie for 30th place.
While competing in all 21 rounds as a junior, McCollum matched her season-low 77 in the Great Smokies Intercollegiate and the 2011 Big South Championships. Her first-round, team-best 77 in the Big South Championship helped McCollum tally a 33rd-place finish.
