A member of the most dominant stretch in women's basketball history at Radford, Roz Groce played a special part in making that history. Groce was a member of the 1989, 1990 and 1992 regular season championship teams as well as the 1990, 1991, 1992 three-peat stretch of tournament championships. In 1991, she was named tournament MVP after hitting a buzzer-beater shot against Campbell in the title match to give Radford its fourth title in program history. That same season she set a single-year program record for Radford in free throws made with 170. Capping her career, she was named to the conference's second team in 1991 and 1992.
