Nags Head, N.C. – Sean Goshert (Conway, S.C.) is just one off the individual lead after firing a career-low 68 and the Radford men's golf team continued their impressive play with a team total of 287 to sit second following Monday's opening round of the 29th Annual Seascape Collegiate hosted by ODU.

A junior and product of Socastee High School, Goshert carded a two-under 33 on the front side before shooting par on his last nine holes to finish day one tied for second with three others, just one back of George Washington's Cole Turner.

Looking for his third straight top-10 finish, Chris Dillow (Bland, Va.) carded a one-over 71 on his first 18 holes, and is currently tied for 15th. Kyle Bailey (Fincastle, Va.) and Michael Wade (Floyd, Va.) both opened with 74s, while Lane Hite (Clarksville, Va.) shot 79.

Coming off two straight top-three showings, the Highlanders are only two swings behind tournament-leader Campbell, which opened with a 285 and one clear of Elon.

In search of its first tournament title since last fall, Radford will begin its final round Tuesday morning with tee times beginning at 10 a.m.
