RESULTS
WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – After an hour frost delay, Paul Woodson (Powhatan, Va./Powhatan) fired a season-low 72 to finish tied for 21st, while Radford shot a team score of 297 to place 14th at the 2009 First Market Bank Intercollegiate hosted by William & Mary.
The 36-hole event was played on the Par 71, 6,831-yard River Course layout at the Kingsmill Resort.
Woodson concluded the two-day event at 148 (76-72) to record his lowest finish of the season.
Radford's Chris Dillow (Bland, Va./Bland) also carded a one-over 72 on his final 18 holes to finish in a tie for 28th.
As a team, Radford finished its second tournament of the spring with a score of 606 (309-297), just seven swings out of 10th.
Kyle Bailey (Fincastle, Va./James River) bettered his opening round by two strokes with a five-over 76 to place tied for 61st, while Lane Hite (Clarksville, Va./Bluestone) and Michael Wade (Floyd, Va./Floyd) finished at 156 (78-78) and 157 (80-77), respectively.
Liberty held on to its overnight lead to claim the team title and the Flames' Robert Karlsson took home individual medalist.
Campbell finished second in the team standings, 10 strokes clear of Southern Illinois.
The Highlanders will continue their spring campaign at the East Carolina Intercollegiate April 3-5 in Greenville, N.C.
