SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Michael Wade fired a career-low 68 and
Kyle Bailey came home tied for 11th to lead the Radford men's golf team on the final day of the 2010 Wofford Invitational.
The two-day event was played on the Par-72, 6,648-yard Country Club of Spartanburg layout.
East Tennessee State led wire to wire to win the team title, while the Buccaneers' Michael Stewart claimed individual medalists with a 54-hole total of 209 (-7).
Bailey concluded the annual event in 217 (74-69-74), while Wade bettered his round two total by 10 strokes and climbed up the individual leaderboard to finish four back of Bailey tied for 29th (75-78-68).
Weston Eklund,
Lane Hite and
Wade Wawner each recorded final rounds of 76 to place outside the Top-30.
As a team, the Highlanders finished tied for 11th.
Radford returns to the course at the 2010 Big South Men's Golf Championships April 19-21 in Ninety-Six, S.C.
