FINAL RESULTS
BOONE, N.C. – Michael Wade (Floyd, Va./Floyd) of the Radford men's golf team continued his consistent tournament Tuesday afternoon, carding an even-par 72 in the final round to finish tied for ninth at the Donald Ross Intercollegiate.
Wade (73-69-72, 214) led all Highlander competitors with his ninth-place finish and was just six strokes out of fifth. Just behind him in a tie for 15th was redshirt-junior
Weston Eklund (Charlottesville, Va./Albemarle), who shot a 216 (+6) courtesy of a final-round 71.
Radford (292-297-290, 879) carded the third lowest round of the day (290) and finished seven in the team standings.
Senior
Paul Woodson (Powhatan, Va./Powhatan) tallied an even-par day to finish up at 223 and tied for 31st out of 64 competitors.
The 54-hole event was held on the par-70, 6,540-yard layout at Morganton's Mimosa Hill Golf and Country Club and featured a 12-team field.
Radford's next event will come at the Outer Banks Intercollegiate on Oct. 24-25.
