FINAL RESULTS

PINEHURST, N.C. – Radford men's golf carded a six-over 290 (+6) and Lane Hite recorded a 66 (-5) on the final day of the Pinehurst Intercollegiate to finish eighth on Sunday.

The team comeback was triggered by the senior Hite, who tallied a career-low, 18-hole total which featured four birdies and an eagle on 15.  Alongside his career-best round, he jumped an astounding 36 positions up the individual leaderboard to finish in a tie for 26th. 
 
Entering the final day, the Highlanders were 11th on the team leaderboard and jumped ahead of three teams, courtesy of the third-best final round team score of all 16 teams in the tournament.

Redshirt-sophomore Weston Eklund was the top finisher for Radford, who finished tied for 22nd with a nine-over 222 over the three-day event.
 
The Pinehurst Intercollegiate was played on the par-71, 6,880-yard course at Pinehurst #6.
 
The next tournament for Radford will come at the C&F Bank Intercollegiate, played at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Va.
