ROUND 1 RESULTS
WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Radford men's golf team carded a six-over 294 and currently sits in a tie for sixth out of 24 teams after the first round of the C&F Bank Intercollegiate Monday afternoon.
Radford is presently three strokes back of third place and seven out of second place.
Senior
Lane Hite continues his solid play, as he alongside freshman
Matt Harman and junior
Michael Wade all shot a one-over 73 and are tied for 22nd entering the final 18 holes tomorrow. Wade shot a team-best 34 on the front nine.
Rounding out Radford's team play was redshirt-sophomore
Weston Eklund, who carded a 75 (+3) and teammate
Paul Woodson shot a four-over 76.
All five Highlanders in the tournament are in the top-50 in a 126-player field.
Final round play on the par-72, 6,659-yard Woods course at Kingsmill Resort will begin tomorrow morning.
