LIVE STATS

Ranked 63rd in the most recent ITA Rankings, Radford will put its nine-match winning streak on the line with a three-match homestand this weekend at the RU Tennis Courts. The Highlanders will play Tennessee Tech (4-4) Friday at 2 p.m. before taking on George Washington (10-6) and Southern Virginia (6-5) Saturday.

Winners of 12 of its last 13 matches, Radford enters the weekend 13-3 following a 7-0 win at Davidson Tuesday afternoon.

The shutout was the fourth of the season and 14th dating back to 2009 for the nationally-ranked Highlanders.

Dating back to its 6-1 win at Elon, Radford has outscored its opponents 55-10.

In doubles, the Highlanders are led by their top duo of Ivan Salec (Oroslavje, Croatia / Oroslavje Secondary School) and Thomas Dehaen (Zwevegem, Belgium / Middenjury), who are 30-4 since teaming up a year ago.

In addition to his impressive singles and doubles play, Salec is ranked 82nd in the most recent ITA Rankings.

Salec leads the club with a 13-1 singles mark, while freshman Stijn Meulemans (Belgium / KA2 sportschool Hasselt) is 13-3 thanks to 12 straight victories. Dehaen (12-3), Igor Ogrizek (Daruvar, Croatia / Birotechnika Grammar School) (12-3) and Nicholas Sayer (Hong Kong, Hong Kong / Cams Hill School) (11-3) have also posted double-digit wins.

Radford will play its final non-conference regular season road dual Thursday at James Madison.
