ELON, N.C. -- A day after suffering a disappointing loss to its league rival, Radford responded with a convincing 6-1 victory at Elon in men's tennis action Saturday afternoon.

Trailing 1-0 after the doubles portion, the Highlanders (5-3) swept the singles competition, including a pair of three-set wins.

In addition to remaining undefeated in singles this spring, freshman Nick Sayer (Hong Kong, Hong Kong / Cams Hill School) teamed with Paul Boslet (Hudson, Ohio / Hudson) to record Radford's lone doubles win.

The Highlanders also got singles victories from No. 67 Ivan Salec (Oroslavje, Croatia / Oroslavje Secondary School), Igor Ogrizek (Daruvar, Croatia / Birotechnika Grammar School), Thomas Dehaen (Zwevegem, Belgium / Middenjury), Stijn Meulemans (Belgium / KA2 sportschool Hasselt) and Boslet.

Radford will enjoy a three-day break before beginning their Spring Break at South Alabama Tuesday.
