EKLUND IN SIXTH AT WEXFORD INTERCOLLEGIATE

HILTON HEAD, S.C. - Weston Eklund charted a four-over 148 after the first 36 holes to lead Radford men's golf after the first day of the Wexford Intercollegiate on Monday.

Eklund leads all Radford players in sixth place and is five strokes back of the individual leader, Damon Stephenson from Georgia State. Eklund carded rounds of 75 and 73, respectively.

As a team, the Highlanders are in eighth place at 612 and are six strokes out of fifth.

Callum Tarren is also towards the top of the leaderboard in a tie for 10th place. Tarren opened the spring with a one-over 73 and finished five-over 149.

Freshman Tanner Carbaugh is currently in a tie for 17th place at 151 (+7).

Final round action gets underway tomorrow morning.
