
WOMEN’S GOLF HEADS WEST FOR LADY BISON SPRING CLASSIC

RADFORD, Va. – The Radford women's golf team returns to the links Thursday and Friday for the Lady Bison Spring Classic hosted by Bucknell at the Paiute Golf Resort's Snow Mountain course in Las Vegas, Nev.
The two-day, 36-hole tournament features 13 teams, headlined by 67th-ranked Old Dominion. Joining the Monarchs, the Highlanders and the Lady Bison are Nova Southeastern, Boise State, North Dakota, Creighton, Northern Illinois, Southern Utah, Western Illinois, Southern Illinois, Idaho State and Youngstown State.
Radford will be looking for its fifth top-10 performance of the season when the squad tees off in the desert. In addition to their 314.6 scoring average, the Highlanders have eight top-20 individual finishes, including four from Alexandra Austin. The sophomore tied for eighth at the Edwin Watts / Kiawah Island Classic two weeks ago.
RU is paired with Bucknell for Thursday's first round, which gets underway at 9:00 a.m. (PT).
