SNOW HALTS FIRST ROUND ACTION AT C&F BANK INTERCOLLEGIATE

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Radford men's golf is tied for fourth after firing a 6-over-par 146 on the front nine before play was suspended due to snow Sunday at the C&F Bank Intercollegiate hosted by William & Mary at the par 70, 6,765-yard Kingsmill Resort River Course.

James Madison leads the 32-team field at 3-over 143, while Eastern Kentucky and 27th-ranked Tennessee are two shots back at 5-over-par. The Volunteers were one of 16 teams that finished 18 holes before playing conditions deteriorated.

EKU and Tennessee are one shot clear of Radford and Appalachian State. 16th-ranked Florida State and Michigan are tied for sixth at 7-over 287.
 
Ranked 219th in the individual standings by Golfstat, Weston Eklund is tied for 10th following an even-par 35 on the opening nine holes to lead the Highlanders. Conner Hayden is tied for 19th at 1-over 36, while Tanner Carbaugh is tied for 36th at 2-over 37.
 
Callum Tarren carded a 3-over 38 and is tied for 48th, while Matt Harman charted a 5-over 40 and is tied for 95th in the 164-player field.
 
Eastern Michigan's Casey Olsen and Notre Dame's Cory Sciupider top the individual leaderboard as they returned a 3-under 67 to the clubhouse. The duo leads by one shot over William & Mary's Alex Hicks and Notre Dame's Andrew Lane.
