Radford University director of athletics, Robert Lineburg, announced Thursday the hiring of Chad Wall as assistant director of athletics for compliance for the Highlanders.

He served in that role from 2008-10 for the Mountaineers and taught undergraduate courses in the sport management program after working his way up as a compliance assistant and assistant director from 2004-08.
"We are very happy Chad has joined our department," Lineburg said. "He brings a great deal of experience to the position having worked in high profile programs with high profile coaches at West Virginia and VCU. We believe he is an excellent fit here at RU."
Wall is a 2001 graduate of Western Carolina University where he was a letter-winner on the men's basketball team. He earned a master's degree in sport management from West Virginia in 2005 and is currently working to complete his disertation in completion of a doctorate in educational leadership / higher education administration from WVU.
"I am excited to be back home working with RU Athletics," Wall said.
