Coming off a 1-2 weekend at the season-opening Battle of Midtown tournament, which included a 3-1 over host Georgia Tech, Radford baseball gets right back on the road with a tilt against North Carolina A&T on Feb. 18. First pitch at War Memorial Stadium for today's mid-week tilt is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.

Probable Starter – Austin Ross (RHP, 0-0, 0.00)

Recap - Behind a six-inning no-hit performance from Dylan Nelson and a three-inning save by Michael Costello, Radford defeated No. 35 Georgia Tech, 3-1, in its second game of the Battle of Midtown tournament on Saturday… Nelson surrendered a run, struck out six and walked one, while Costello allowed a pair of hits with two punchouts and one free pass… RU collected 11 hits, two each by Patrick Marshall, Blake Sipe and Alexander Lee… The Highlanders dropped their opener, 9-4 to VCU, and the finale, 8-7 in 10 innings to Old Dominion… Chris Coia, who had the game-winning single against the YellowJackets, registered two baseknocks versus the Rams… Against the Monarchs, RU rallied with four two-out runs in the ninth, only to see ODU even it in the ninth, and after reclaiming the lead in the 10th, the Highlanders surrendered two runs and fell to the Monarchs, 8-7… Coia went 3-for-6 with three RBI, while Josh Reavis homered and drove in two… Josh Gardiner, Marshall and Lee recorded two hits apiece.

Notables – Nelson picked up his second win over an ACC opponent… He defeated No. 4 Virginia as a freshman last season… That was Costello's 10th career save after posting nine in 2013… He currently sits sixth on the program's career charts… Reavis' long ball against ODU was the first of his collegiate career… After three games, Coia and Lee are pacing the Highlanders at the plate, batting .462 and .455, respectively… Coia has a team-best six hits and four RBI, while Lee has scored a season-high three runs and recorded two doubles.

Up Next – The Highlanders will take part in the Wake Forest Invitational from Feb. 21-23, opening with Missouri at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, followed by Cincinnati on Saturday (12:00 p.m.) and the host Demon Deacons on Sunday (4:00 p.m.).
