Radford makes the 20-minute journey to Virginia Tech on Wednesday evening for a non-conference showdown with the Hokies at English Field in Blacksburg, Va. First pitch is set for 5:30 p.m. The two teams have already met earlier in the season with Tech scoring a 6-1 victory.

The Highlanders (15-11, 6-3) are coming off a win in the final game of the Big South series vs. Longwood and are projected to start sophomore lefty, Tyler Swarmer (0-0, 3.71 ERA). Swarmer will be making his third start of the season and sixth appearance overall.

Virginia Tech (12-12, 5-7) is in action Tuesday hosting James Madison. Freshman right-hander Aaron McGarity (0-0, 4.95 ERA) is scheduled to get his third career in the game against RU.
