The Radford baseball team will play 13 of its next 15 games at RU Baseball Stadium, including a four-game stretch this week that begins Wednesday night against James Madison. First pitch is set for 6:00 p.m. The Highlanders are currently 8-3 at home this season.

Radford (17-15, 7-5) is coming off its first shutout of the season, a 1-0 two-hitter thrown by Michael Boyle in the Big South series finale at Winthrop on Sunday. Boyle struck out 14 Eagle batters in the performance, which is the most since Jim Abbott set the school record of 15 in 1995. Tyler Swarmer (0-0, 4.19) is scheduled to make his fourth start and seventh appearance on the mound against the Dukes.

Alexander Lee improved his total of multiple hit games to 14 on the season and remains among the top five in the Big South in hitting. He is currently fifth with a .373 average. Lee is second in the conference in on-base percentage at .484. He snapped an 0-13 slump with a pair of hits at Virginia Tech.

Hunter Higgerson is tied for third in the Big South with five home runs on the season. He ranks tied for eighth in the league with a team-high 24 RBI.

Chris Coia ranks fourth in the Big South with 12 stolen bases.

Radford ranks second in the NCAA in being hit by pitch behind Big South foe Campbell. The Highlanders have been hit 75 times in 30 games played. The Camels have been plunked 79 times this season.

James Madison (11-17, 3-2) hosts top-ranked Virginia on Tuesday night and has not named a starting pitcher for Wednesday's game.
