RU OPENS FINAL ROAD SERIES OF THE SEASON FRIDAY AT ASHEVILLE

With sights still set on capturing the second seed in the Big South North Division race, Radford (27-19, 12-9) heads to UNC Asheville (13-33, 4-16) for its final three-game regular season road series of the 2014 campaign. The Highlanders enter Friiday's series opener tied for third with High Point in the division and just two games behind second place Campbell. RU holds the tie-breaker over both of those teams in head-to-head play.

Radford has won 12 of its last 17 games, including a crucial series win last weekend at High Point. The Bulldogs have fallen in 11 of their last 13 games, but defeated Tennessee on the road Tuesday in Knoxville, 7-5. UNCA dropped a 10-3 decision at Davidson on Wednesday in its last game.
