RADFORD, Va. – Radford landed six of its student-athletes on the 2013-14 Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) Academic All-State team, which was released Thursday morning.

For Radford, the following six were honored:

Kirsty Condon, Sr., Lincolnshire, England, 4.0, German (French, Spanish, Management, Marketing), Women's Golf
Rachel Conway, Sr., Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, 4.0, Sports Medicine, Women's Soccer
Emma Deininger, Jr., Wallingford, Pa., 3.91, Accounting and Finance, Volleyball
Stephen Hudgens, Jr., Alpharetta, Ga., 4.0, Accounting and Finance, Men's Soccer
Nicholas Sayer, Sr., Hong Kong, Hong Kong, 3.96, MBA, Men's Tennis
Teresa Williamson, Jr., Chesapeake, Va., 4.0, Nursing, Women's Cross Country/Track & Field

In all, 226 student-athletes from 38 colleges and universities across Virginia were honored. To be eligible a student-athlete had to have at least a 3.25 GPA and be a sophomore or higher in academic standing.

VaSID is comprised of sports information or athletics communications professionals from intercollegiate institutions throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. Membership is open to any individual affiliated with one of the state's institutions at the NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III, NAIA, community college and independent levels, provided that individual's area of responsibility lies within the realm of sports information.
