MANAKIN-SABOT, Va. –
On the strength of his second sub-par round of the season, Conner Hayden of the Radford men's golf team is in second place through Monday's 36 holes of the Janney VCU Shootout hosted by the Rams at the par 72, 6,955-yard Hermitage Country Club.

Hayden, who already has one collegiate victory under his belt (the 2014 Davidson College Invitational), recorded six birdies on the day en route to a 1-under 143 (69-74). The junior is one shot behind Nick Voke of Iowa State with 18 holes to play.
