HOW IT HAPPENED

Radford remained atop the Big South men's soccer standings following Saturday's 2-0 victory over Campbell at Eakes Athletic Complex in Buies Creek, N.C.
The Highlanders struck early when Daniel O'Keefe pounced on a loose ball in the box and fired it into goal in the 11^th minute. It was his second goal of the season.
RU extended its advantage to 2-0 when Garland Smith earned his second goal of the season in the 60^th minute. He collected a rebound off a Sivert Daehlie blast from 25 yards out and ripped his attempt off the left post and in for the insurance tally.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

The Highlanders applied constant pressure on the hosts, earning nine corners during the match.
O'Keefe's strike marked the sixth time Radford has scored off a corner this season.
The Highlanders, who are on a six-match winning streak, are off to their best start since the 1995 season when they opened with a 10-1-1 record.
Radford outshot its opponent for the 10^th time this season, gaining a 14-8 advantage over the Camels.
Aitor Pouseu Blanco secured his fourth shutout (11^th career) of the season by making two saves.
RU blanked Campbell for the second straight meeting. The Camels have not scored against Radford in 211 minutes.
With the win, the Highlanders even the all-time series with Campbell (12-12-1).
