RADFORD, Va. – The Radford cross country teams are set to compete for the third weekend in a row as they travel to Spartanburg, S.C. for the USC Upstate Invitational on Saturday morning.
Upstate's Milliken Cross Country Course is also the site of this year's Big South Championships on Oct. 31. Ten of the conference's 11 men's and women's programs are among the 32 schools entered in the field for Saturday's meet, with Longwood the lone representative not competing. Among the other teams in the field are Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, Appalachian State and Western Carolina.

Sophomore Jacob Black is coming off a personal-best 8K performance last week, while senior Harrison Murn will see his first meet action since the season opener. For the women, juniors Courtney Burton and Courtney Rice have each led the way in the last two meets.
The women's 5K is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m., with the men's 8K getting underway at 9:45 a.m.
