HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Radford was held to .133 on the attack in a 3-1 loss to High Point, Friday night, in Big South volleyball action inside the Millis Center.
  • RU built a seven-point lead in the second stanza and had to hold off a late Panther surge to tie the match heading into intermission.
  • The Highlanders trailed by as many as 13 in the third frame, before closing the gap to four (21-17). However, HPU claimed four of the next five points to secure the win.
  • High Point engineered a 10-4 run midway through the fourth set to break open a one-point decision.

  • Burton did all she could offensively as well, roping a match-high 17 kills.
  • Megan Short added 11 kills at a .303 attack clip and five blocks.
  • Kleespies assisted on 38 Radford kills to chart the seventh double-double of her freshman campaign.
