O’KEEFE RUNS WIN STREAK TO FOUR IN NEW YORK

WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. – Patrick O'Keefe won his fourth straight singles match, but 11-time MAAC champion Marist handed Radford a 5-1 setback in nonconference men's tennis action Thursday afternoon at Cross Court Tennis Club.

O'Keefe, who improved to 5-2 at No. 1 singles, defeated Justin Chanthalangsy in straight sets (6-3, 6-0) to notch the Highlanders' only point of the dual.

Marist (5-6) swept doubles competition to earn the early 1-0 favor. After O'Keefe tied the match with his win on court 1, the Red Foxes prevailed in the next four singles decisions to provide the final tally.

RU (2-6) is next in action Sunday, March 22 when the Highlanders travel to Richmond, Ky., to face Eastern Kentucky at 10 a.m.
