WOMEN’S GOLF RETURNS TO HILTON HEAD FOR LOW COUNTRY INTERCOLLEGIATE

RADFORD, Va. – The Radford women's golf team is set to compete at the seventh annual Low Country Intercollegiate, Saturday and Sunday, at the par 72, 5,815-yard Moss Creek Golf Club on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina.

RADFORD LINEUP
The Highlanders will travel Alexandra Austin, Khushboo Thiagaraj, Larissa Carter, Olivia Jay and Meagan Board for the third straight tournament.

THE FIELD
Fifteen teams will descend on Hilton Head Island this weekend. Four Big South teams are set to tee it up: Gardner-Webb, High Point, Radford and Presbyterian.

THE COURSE
Referred to by Golf Digest as a "beauty with a bite," Moss Creek Golf Club stretches along the Intracoastal Waterway and Mackay Creek. The par 72 course requires accuracy to its small greens, and is considered one of George and Tom Fazio's best designs.

UP NEXT
RU will play its final event before the conference tournament, March 30-31, at the Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate in Williamsburg, Va. William and Mary will host the 54-hole tournament at Kingsmill Resort's River Course.
