FAIRFAX, Va. ---- Teresa Williamson and Katie Hickey set season bests in a pair of fast races at the Mason Spring Invite in Fairfax, Va., at the George Mason Stadium on Saturday.
Williamson took eighth in the 800-meter run with a season-best 2:11.28. Her career best of 2:10.86 came back at the Liberty Collegiate Invite on April 5, 2014. Williamson concluded her day of racing in the 1,500 meters with a 4:32.73. Her 12th-place performance crushed her previous season best time of 4:37.38 ran at the Virginia Cup on March 21.
Hickey's day started the 800 meters as well, clocking a new outdoor personal-best 2:16.10. She ran a 2:17.58 at the Virginia Cup earlier this year. In the 1,500-meter run, Hickey turned in a 4:50.49.
The Highlanders return for a full slate of competition at the Virginia Cup in Charlottesville, Va., from April 17-18.

FAIRFAX, Va. ---- Teresa Williamson and Katie Hickey set season bests in a pair of fast races at the Mason Spring Invite in Fairfax, Va., at the George Mason Stadium on Saturday.
Williamson took eighth in the 800-meter run with a season-best 2:11.28. Her career best of 2:10.86 came back at the Liberty Collegiate Invite on April 5, 2014. Williamson concluded her day of racing in the 1,500 meters with a 4:32.73. Her 12th-place performance crushed her previous season best time of 4:37.38 ran at the Virginia Cup on March 21.
Hickey's day started the 800 meters as well, clocking a new outdoor personal-best 2:16.10. She ran a 2:17.58 at the Virginia Cup earlier this year. In the 1,500-meter run, Hickey turned in a 4:50.49.
