No. 23/24/30 Radford enters the final series of the regular season needing to win 2 of 3 at UNC Asheville to secure the No. 1 seed and at least a share of the program's first Big South Conference title. The Highlanders lowered their magic number to clinch the top seed in next week's Big South Tournament to two with a home sweep of Charleston Southern last week. Their magic number for the outright title is three.

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGSCurrent Stats
UNC Asheville has been eliminated from contention for the conference tournament and will be playing its final three games of the season vs. the Highlanders. The Bulldogs dropped a 4-3 decision to Tennessee in extra innings on Tuesday night. UNCA has dropped three straight games and four straight Big South series.

Asheville is led by two of the league's better bats, Tommy Houmard (.369) and Hunter Bryant (.345). Bryant is tied for the conference lead with 12 home runs and has driven in 43 runs. As a team, the Bulldogs are batting .255 and averaging 6.0 runs per game. The pitching staff carries a 6.31 team ERA.
