ALEXANDROS CALDWELL SIGNS WITH MEN’S TENNIS

RADFORD, Va. – Radford men's tennis head coach Mike Anderson announced Wednesday morning Alexandros Caldwell has signed a national letter of intent and will compete for the Highlanders beginning in January.

Caldwell blossomed in the summer of 2014, winning the Pan-Hellenic singles championship and finishing runner-up in the mixed doubles championship. He also took runner-up honors at the Open Pan-Hellenic singles tournament in March 2014.

Since 2012, Caldwell has claimed three singles championships and notched 10 top-three finishes. For his outstanding performances on the tennis court, Caldwell has been honored three times by the Marathonas Tennis Club.

Caldwell also played soccer, volleyball, beach volleyball and beach tennis in Greece.

Anderson on Caldwell: We are lucky for Alexandros to have picked RU to grow with his tennis and continue his education. He is a heck of a tennis player, and I expect great things from him in his freshman year.
