RADFORD MOVES UP THREE SPOTS ON DAY TWO OF EAST BAY DELI CLASSIC

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – Radford cut five strokes off their day one total to move up three spots into a tie for 17th place after charting a 301 on the second day of the East Bay Deli Classic at the Jack Nicklaus signature Turtle Point Golf Course.

Ben Ramsey and Conner Lewis paced the Highlanders on day two, carding a one-over 73, while collecting two birdies each during their rounds. Lewis finished with the lowest front nine round with a two-under par 34.

Topping the leaderboard for the Highlanders, Myles Creighton finished with a 76, standing in a tie for 37th place.

Ben O'Geary continues with another strong performance in his first action of the fall season, carding a 79 on the second 18-holes of the classic, finishing with the Highlanders lowest back nine round of 37.

The Highlanders are tied for fourth with 111 pars. Lewis leads the squad with 24 pars, while Ramsey and O'Geary follow with 23.

Radford has an opportunity to move up the team leaderboard on the final day of the classic, standing five strokes out of 16th place. The Highlanders are currently tied with Maryland.

Augusta separated its self from the rest of the field with a four-under 284 on day two, leading College of Charleston by six strokes.
