Radford's 16-point run was capped off on a layup by Johnson as the freshman drove through the lane to build the Highlander edge to eight points.

Davis & Elkins would only score four more points in the quarter as Worthy sealed the comeback with her third steal, finishing off the turnover with a layup to give Radford a 22-6 fourth quarter showing in the 67-57 comeback victory.

QUOTABLE
  • "There was an eight-minute stretch where we had some life and intensity, which helped give us the lead. You have to give Davis & Elkins a lot of credit, because in a lot of ways they deserved to win this game. They outplayed us most of the game, but that eight-minute stretch was a good lesson for us. We showed some grit and heart during the stretch. ~ Radford head coach Mike McGuire
