HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – Conner Hayden and Nick Brediger tied for 12^th and 17^th, respectively, as the Radford men's golf team concluded competition Tuesday at the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate hosted by Francis Marion.

The Highlanders finished ninth in the 17-team field with their 888 (298-291-299). On the strength of three of its golfers in the Top-10, Campbell captured the team title at 17-under-par 847 (286-282-279). No. 44 Louisville finished runner-up at 3-under-par 862 (282-295-285).

Overnight leader Andrew Novak of Wofford led wire-to-wire en route to medalist honors. Novak's 13-under-par 203 (70-67-66) was two shots clear of USC Aiken's Johnson Holliday.

After posting seven birdies Monday, Hayden tacked on five more in Tuesday's final round to post a 216 (71-72-73). Brediger was right behind with his 218 (72-73-73).

Conner Lewis (224), Myles Creighton (231) and Gareth Sargent (246) rounded out the RU lineup.

The Highlanders return to the course next week (Feb. 29-March 1) at the Davidson Invitational hosted by the Wildcats at River Run Country Club in Davidson, N.C.
