MANNEPALLI COLLECTS TWO WINS IN 4-3 LOSS TO UNC GREENSBORO

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Radford dropped its second 4-3 match in a row this weekend, falling to UNC Greensboro, Sunday afternoon in non-conference action.

UNC Greensboro (4-3) won two out of the three doubles matches to collect the point. Nikhil Mannepalli and Alexandros Caldwell picked up a 6-2 win in No. 3 doubles for Radford.

The Spartans collected the first two singles matches, extending their lead to 3-0.

Pulling Radford within 3-1, Mannepalli earned his second win on the day, taking a 6-4, 7-5 victory in No. 6 singles.

UNC Greensboro followed with a No. 1 singles win from Connor Thompson to take the match. The Highlanders added two last wins in No. 3 singles (Alexandros Caldwell) and No. 4 singles (Jose Moreno Manzano).

Radford (0-4) returns to the court tomorrow, traveling to Wingate for a 10 a.m. match.
