NEW RIVER VALLEY SHOWDOWN SCHEDULE CHANGE

RADFORD, Va. – Due to impending weather in the New River Valley on Tuesday, the final game of the NRV showdown between Radford and Virginia Tech at Calfee Park has been postponed to Wednesday with first pitch scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

Virginia Tech captured game one in Blacksburg with a late inning comeback, taking a 4-3 victory in 10 innings on March 1. Radford evened the series in an offensive explosion on March 22, earning a 12-8 win on its home turf.

The contest will be general admission seating and the cost for tickets are $6. Youth, seniors and military may purchase a ticket for $5. Advanced tickets for the showdown can only be purchased online.

Tickets will also be available for purchase on game day. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m.
