BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Loren Day, the nation's leading scorer, tallied a game-high eight goals to lift Campbell to a 20-6 victory over Radford in Big South women's lacrosse action Saturday afternoon at Barker-Lane Stadium.
 
Day tallied seven of her eight goals in the first half, which led to the Camels establishing a 16-2 advantage at halftime. The two sides battled to a 4-4 draw in the second stanza.
 
Adrian Rius, who scored two of her team-high three goals from free position, fired six shots and reeled in four draw controls for the Highlanders. Ellie Graef and Avery Reding both scooped up three ground balls.
 
Hannah Rosen logged five saves while facing 27 shots from the opposition. RU tied Campbell in draw controls, 14-14.
 
Radford is off until next Saturday when the Highlanders host Presbyterian College at Cupp Stadium. Opening draw is scheduled for 12 p.m.
