Final Results

BLACKSBURG, Va. – Katy Harriman and La'Tisha Chambers led the way with strong performances in the field as Radford capped off action in the Hokie Invitational on Saturday.

Harriman tied for second-place in the high jump with a top clearance of 1.64 meters (5-4.50), just .01 less than her personal best. She easily cleared the first two heights of 1.59 and 1.64 before just missing on three attempts over the bar at 1.69. She tied with Charlotte's Sydney Blue, trailing only Cassie Martin of Duke in the field.

Chambers advanced to the finals of the long jump and claimed eighth place out of 27 competitors while recording several personal-best jumps. The freshman's top mark was 5.48 meters (17-11.75), the best a Highlander has posted in the the eventh in more than two seasons.

Also in the field, Naihla Rose-Delia placed 13th in the shot put with a mark of 12.59 meters (41-3.75), with teammate Anastasia Kramer finishing 16th (10.79m).

On the track, Percie Lyons finished seventh in the 800 meters with a time of 2:25.41, while Allison Brennan followed in 10th (2:29.92).

Radford is back in action next weekend as it travels to Liberty for the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
