BURLINGTON, N.C. – The Radford men's golf team finished in sixth place and defeated 10 teams on Tuesday, the final day of the Phoenix Invitational, at the Alamance Country Club in Burlington, N.C.
Hunter Duncan shot the best of any Highlander in the final round. He tallied three birdies, including two on the back-nine. His played helped the team finished eight-over (860).
Ben Ramsey continued his strong play finishing the day two-over (215), while Myles Creighton and Peter Gasperini finished three-over (74). Gareth Sargent finished five-over (76) and was in 54th place.
The Highlanders finished in front of 10 teams, including three Big South foes. High Point was one stroke behind Radford, while Longwood was six strokes behind. Presbyterian finished in 15th place after shooting an 889 through the tournament. Radford tallied 113 pars, 26 birdies and one eagle.
