RADFORD PUTS TOGETHER STRONG SHOWING IN ITA REGIONAL

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Radford men's tennis wrapped up play in the 2017 ITA Atlantic Regional on Sunday afternoon as Rodrigo Magalhaes and Alexandros Caldwell finished with 2-1 records in the regional.

In the Round of 32 of main draw singles play, Magalhaes fell to No. 16 seed Amadeo Blasco 6-0, 2-6, 6-2.

In Round of 64 consolation play, Alexandros Caldwell defeated Liberty's Max Borcuti 6-1, 6-2 for his second win of the regional.

The Highlanders will take a week off, before returning to action in the Wake Forest Fall Invitational Nov. 3-5.
