QUOTABLE
  • "Today was a good response by our team. We felt a lot of what happened on Thursday night was unacceptable, so heading into this game we knew the first quarter was very important for us from just a confidence factor. We needed the ball to go in the basket early and we needed to get some defensive stops. It was a response that I thought we would have based on the conversations we've had over the last couple of days. It's a great win over another great in-state program." ~ Radford head coach Mike McGuire

UP NEXT
  • After taking a week off for exams, Radford returns to action on Dec. 16 with a border bash against West Virginia for only the second meeting between the two foes.
  • The first meeting came on Dec. 2, 2009 in Morgantown as the Mountaineers rolled for a 64-28 victory.
  • Radford and West Virginia will meet in Charleston, W. Va., for a neutral site battle inside the Charleston Civic Center as the Highlanders next three games will come on neutral floors.
